This was a play written and staged in Sweden by prolific writer August Strindberg in 1892 but subsequently lost to the public. Strindberg, who has been called the father of Swedish literature,  wrote more than 60 plays as well as 30 works of fiction and married three times. The Keys of Heaven was inspired by the loss of his children in his divorce from his Finnish first wife.  In the early 1970s, the manuscript was discovered, translated and revived by Robin Williamson who produced the play in 1973 as a multimedia event in Britain.  A stage version, a filmed version and a radio play were released and compared for how three media told the strange tale.

Monica was Associate Producer of the three multimedia productions.
