Entrée was a monthly publication of Fairchild Publications targeted at the growing number of housewares and tableware retailers in the US. The Baby Boom was in full swing, generating growing demand for attractive small appliances, for decorative china and glassware, for accessorizing and decorating kitchens and dining tables. A sister title was Home Fashions, another bright, lively publication, largely funded by advertising aimed at the booming sector of boutiques and home stores. These two monthly trade magazines were spin offs from the juggernaut publication HFD which serviced tens of thousands of retailers and department stores.   


Monica was appointed Publishing Director of both titles in early 1989, wholly responsible for both magazines’ Editorial and  Publishing. She re-invigorated the design and coverage of both magazines, while boosting advertising sales.
