The American Associates of the National Theatre (AANT) is a NY-based non-profit organization which promotes and supports the work of the National Theatre in both the UK and the United States.  The NT, led by Nicholas Hytner and now by Rufus Norris, is  the largest and most successful producing company in the world, reaching millions of viewers through its theatre productions and its NTLive service which beams plays into movie theatres all over the globe. The NT has recently launched programs to deliver important plays online into schools in both countries.

Monica has been a key member of the Board of directors for over ten years and periodically helps individual directors and productions to present their work in London or elsewhere. Some recent big hits which Monica has helped fund include Warhorse (staged on four continents), History Boys (award-winning play and a feature movie), One Man, Two Guvnrs (which launched comedian James Corden in the US),  and Network.
